Description
The Department of Labor (DOL) is submitting an Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA)-sponsored information collection request (ICR) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA). The Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) recognizes employers and workers who have implemented effective safety and health management systems and maintain injury and illness rates below national averages. The program promotes cooperative efforts among management, labor, and OSHA to prevent workplace fatalities, injuries, and illnesses through hazard prevention, worksite analysis, training, and management commitment. Public comments on the ICR are invited until October 1, 2026.
