Description

The County of Simcoe is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified community service providers to deliver and operate seasonal Warming Centre services from October 15, 2026, through April 15, 2027. The Warming Centres will be located in the City of Barrie and the Town of Wasaga Beach. Service providers will be responsible for day-to-day operations and delivery of client-centred supports that promote safety, stability, and housing outcomes. The County is interested in organizations capable of operating 24/7 or overnight-only models and aims to provide safe, low-barrier indoor spaces for individuals experiencing homelessness during cold weather.
