Description

The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council will hold a stakeholder workshop jointly with the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission to discuss alternatives under development for the Recreational Sector Separation Amendment. This amendment concerns summer flounder, scup, black sea bass, and bluefish. The workshop aims to support development of management options including separate management for for-hire fisheries and changes to permit and reporting requirements. The meeting is open to the public with limited participation for non-workshop attendees and will be held in person and partially streamed via webinar.
