This notice announces the initiation of an antidumping duty investigation by the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA), Enforcement and Compliance, into imports of Perfluoroalkoxy Alkane (PFA) from India. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Commerce - International Trade Administration, Enforcement and Compliance - OEMs and Vendors: - Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL) (only known Indian producer/exporter of PFA) - The Chemours Company FC, LLC (petitioner) - Products/Services Requested: - Perfluoroalkoxy Alkane (PFA) resin in primary form (pellets, granules, cubes, powder, flakes, fluff, aqueous dispersions) - Must have a minimum melting endotherm peak temperature of 265°C and a melt flow rate of at least 1 g/10 min - Includes compounded forms with at least 80% PFA content by dry weight - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Investigation focuses on whether PFA imports from India are being sold in the U.S. at less than fair value (dumping) - Interested parties are invited to comment on product characteristics and provide factual information - No procurement of goods or services is being solicited; this is an enforcement and compliance action - Estimated dumping margins alleged between 38.78% and 46.80% - The investigation aims to determine material injury to the U.S. PFA industry
