The City of Laredo is soliciting bids for the construction of the Jefferson Convenience Center - Phase 1. The project includes constructing 72,500 square feet of 7-inch heavy duty reinforced concrete, 7,150 square feet of 10-inch reinforced concrete with embedded steel plates, curb and gutter, a 4-foot height vehicular ramp with 6-foot walls, valley gutters, extension of utility lines, clearing and grubbing, demolition, ADA ramps at driveways, fence removal and replacement, and subsidiary work. The construction contract time is 90 working days. Bidders must submit sealed bids with a bid deposit of at least 5% of the total base bid, and comply with federal labor standards and the Build America, Buy America Act.
