NASA seeks capability statements for sole source procurement of electric tube bender and Multihead Hydraulic Swaging Unit with tooling kit for Propulsion Systems Laboratory

• NASA Glenn Research Center's Propulsion Systems Laboratory is seeking capability statements for the procurement of:
  • One Multihead Hydraulic Swaging Unit with tooling kit
  • One 115 V Electric Tube Bender
• The procurement is intended to enable in-house metal tube bending and swaging for propulsion system applications.
• Equipment must comply with ASME BPVC Sect. VIII Div 1 and NBIC NB-23 inspection standards.
• Manufacturer warranties are required for both units.
• NASA intends to award a sole source contract to ABBOTT VALVE & FITTING CO., identified as the sole provider of these items.
• The NAICS code for this procurement is 334519 (Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing).
• Vendors are requested to submit capability statements by September 1, 2026; quotes are not being accepted at this stage.
• The period of performance is from July 30, 2026, to November 14, 2026.
• Delivery and operational functionality of the equipment at NASA Glenn Research Center are required.

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for electric tube bender and Multi Head Swaging Unit with tooling kit for Propulsion Systems Laboratory. See the attached SOW and request capability statements.
