No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to these sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued.

The Fayetteville VAMC located at 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC, 28301 is seeking potential sources capable of replacing and installing nickel cadmium (Ni-Cd) batteries for generators. The Ni-Cd batteries are required to replace expired battery units at the Fayetteville VAMC to provide critical backup power during power interruptions for emergency lighting and critical medical devices such as patient monitors, infusion pumps, defibrillators, and portable diagnostic devices when mobility is needed.
