FEMA Region 6 is seeking qualified contractors for the Upper-Level Watch Renovation at the Federal Regional Center in Denton, Texas. - Government Buyer: - Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region 6, Mission Support Division - Scope of Work: - Renovation and construction services for upper-level operational spaces - Phase 1: Watch Center buildout including wall removals, secure conference room construction, acoustic and soundproof installations, IT and network infrastructure setup for up to 8 users, security system installations, HVAC modifications, and compliance with NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, OSHA, GSA, NEPA, and BOMI standards - Phase 2: Logistics wall removal and door installation, including removal of walls, installation of new doors and frames, relocation of utilities (power, data, life safety systems), restoration of finishes, and daily cleanup - Phase 3: Installation of 13 workstations with IT and communications setup and testing - Unique Requirements: - Strict compliance with safety, environmental, and security standards - Skilled labor required, including hazardous material handling - Contractor personnel must have appropriate security clearances - Work limited to weekdays, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays unless approved - Project must be completed in three phases within a total of 250 federal workdays - No specific OEMs, vendors, or part numbers are mentioned in the solicitation or attachments

Upper-Level Watch Renovation

FEMA Region 6 intends to issue a solicitation for the Upper-Level Watch Renovation project at the Federal Regional Center located at 800 N. Loop 288, Denton, Texas 76209.

The project will include renovation and construction support for upper-level operational spaces, including wall removal, secure conference room improvements, door and frame installation, utility relocation, HVAC and life safety coordination, cleanup, inspections, and related construction work.

This requirement is anticipated to be set aside for eligible SBA Certified Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) concerns under the Women-Owned Small Business Program.

Due to the mission-critical nature of this requirement and the need for timely response and completion of work, the Government requires the contractor to demonstrate the ability to perform within a 150-mile radius of Denton, Texas.

Mandatory Site Visit

A mandatory site visit will be held as follows:
