The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) at the Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center in Stoneville, Mississippi, is seeking a contractor for the removal and replacement of sewer lift station pumps and controls at Building #6. - Government Buyer: - USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center - ARS Acquisition and Property Division (ARS-1232SA) - OEMs and Vendors: - Homa Pump Technology (specified for pumps; 'or approved equal' permitted) - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) UL rated Homa Model TP70M20/4/3 sewer lift station pumps (1.5 Hp, 3 phase, 480 volts) with pump bases - Approximately 24 linear feet of 3" carbon steel piping - New check valves for installation between pump bases and discharge line - New controls in a NEMA 3R enclosure, including high level alarm, starters, and float switches - Three (3) 3" bypass/cleanout connections into existing 3" plastic polyethylene discharge line - Removal of two existing Homa pumps and pump bases - Installation services for all new equipment, including site safety, coordination, and inspections - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Direct replacement of existing equipment; 'or approved equal' allowed for pumps - Project completion required within 90 days from Notice to Proceed - Set aside for small businesses, with a focus on Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSB) - Contractor must minimize impact on government operations and maintain site safety and cleanliness

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1006 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for removal of existing Sewer Lift Station Pumps and Controls and supply/install new direct replacement Pumps and Controls for Building #6 Lift Station  

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237110  The small business size standard is $39.5 Million  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
