This opportunity is for certified water sample testing services at multiple USDA Forest Service and National Park Service sites in Southcentral Alaska. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Chugach National Forest, Glacier Ranger District and Seward Ranger District - National Park Service (for some sites) - Products/Services Requested: - Water sample testing for contaminants including: - Coliform (TCR) - Nitrate - Inorganics - Lead and Copper - Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) - Arsenic - Shipping services for samples (for Child's Glacier Wells) - Testing frequencies vary by site and contaminant (monthly, quarterly, annually, multi-year cycles) - Sample containers, coolers, ice packs, and forms must be provided - Testing must be performed at an Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) certified laboratory - Results must be submitted within 10-15 business days to state entities and Forest Service contacts - Sites include: - Begich Boggs Visitor Center - Portage Bunkhouse Well - Glacier Ranger District - Spencer Campground Well - Kenai Lake Work Center - Broadview Guard Station - Child's Glacier Wells (Cordova) - Unique Requirements: - Laboratory must be located within 120 driving miles of Girdwood and Moose Pass, Alaska - Contractor must supply all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other items necessary - Contract is set aside for small businesses, including EDWOSB and WOSB - Sampling intervals and cycles are specified for each site and contaminant - Shipping logistics required for remote sites (Child's Glacier Wells) - No specific OEMs or laboratory vendors are named; only certified laboratory services are required.

Description

CNF WATER SAMPLE TESTING

This solicitation is to establish a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements, Non-Personal Services contract for water sample testing for the Forest Service, Chugach National Forest (CNF), Southcentral Alaska.

Purpose: The purpose of this contract is to ensure compliance with federal and state drinking water regulations, obtain certified laboratory analyses, maintain operational readiness, and protect public health at forest service facilities.

Description of Services: The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and all other items and non-personal services necessary to perform water sample testing for the Forest Service, Chugach National Forest, located in Southcentral Alaska. Services shall include the testing and analysis of water samples for specified contaminants, including Coliform, Nitrate, Lead and Copper, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Arsenic, and any additional testing required to ensure safe drinking water throughout Southcentral Alaska. 

Place of Performance: The work shall be performed at the contractor’s designated laboratory facility within 120 driving miles of both Girdwood and Moose Pass.

Contract Type: The Government will award a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements, Non-Personal Services contract with up to a 5-Year Ordering Period. Performance shall be made only as authorized by Task Orders issued IAW the Ordering Clause. Subject to any limitations in the Order Limitations Clause or elsewhere in this contract, the contractor shall furnish to the Government all services specified in the Schedule of Items and called for by orders issued IAW the Ordering Clause.
