San Antonio International Airport Centralized Receiving & Distribution Center (CRDC) Operations Solicitation

The City of San Antonio's Aviation Department is seeking a qualified contractor to establish and operate a Centralized Receiving and Distribution Center (CRDC) for San Antonio International Airport. - Government Buyer: - City of San Antonio, Finance Department, Procurement Division (Aviation Department) - Contact: Charisma Esparza - Scope of Work: - Contractor must secure, develop, and operate an off-airport CRDC facility - Facility will support receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of food, beverages, consumables, and non-food supplies for airport concessionaires, lounges, airline catering units, and other tenants - Facility must serve Terminals A, B, and the future Terminal C - Operations must comply with TSA-approved Airport Security Program standards, including 100% inspection of vendor deliveries - Contractor responsible for all capital improvements, dock equipment, racking, coolers/freezers, screening areas, security systems, utilities, and ongoing maintenance - Contractor must purchase, maintain, and certify screening/inspection equipment - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Facility must be off-airport and meet all operational, security, and regulatory requirements - 5-point evaluation preference for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses - Capital costs to be amortized over the contract term; annual operating cost adjustments - Operations to begin by the specified operational start date, with Terminal C docks opening later - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to qualified contractors able to meet all requirements.

The City of San Antonio is soliciting proposals for a qualified contractor to provide the City's Aviation Department with a Centralized Receiving and Distribution Center (CRDC). The CRDC will streamline and centralize the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of food, beverages, consumables, and non-food supplies to various concessionaires, lounges, airline catering units, and other authorized tenants.
