The University of Waterloo is seeking to conduct a full executive search for the position of Associate Vice-President, Indigenous Relations. The successful candidate must be First Nations, Métis, or Inuit with lived experience and a demonstrated understanding of Indigenous histories, cultures, communities, and ways of knowing. The Executive Search Lead must also self-identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit and have experience in senior Indigenous leadership executive searches. The AVP IR will provide strategic leadership in advancing commitments to reconciliation, Indigenization, and decolonization across the university.
