This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1240B26Q0107 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Rock Crushing Service for the Wallowa Whitman National Forest

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 212319  Other Crushed and Broken Stone Mining and Quarryingsize standard is $550 Million   This acquisition is setaside for total small business.   All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. 

Purpose:

USDA Forest Health Protection is requesting an identification service contract with option years to support the Morgantown Field Office forest health staff with bark beetles, ambrosia beetles, and pollinators identification during the field season.  The taxonomist will provide identifications to ensure that field forest health staff are able to provide the most accurate data to land managers.

Scope of Work

The Wallowa Whitman National Forest requires rock crushing service at the NFSR 6700 Mp 9.24 rock pit located in the Wallowa Whitman NF. An option item is included for rock crushing services at the NFSR 7700 MP 9.30 rock pit.
