Clinton County Commissioners are seeking qualified professional engineering firms to provide design services for the SR 150 Pedestrian Safety Improvement Project in Flemington Borough, Clinton County, PA. - Government Buyer: - Clinton County Commissioners, Planning and GIS Department - Contact: Stephen Gibson, P.E., Director of Planning and County Engineer - Project Scope: - Design and engineering for removal of architectural barriers and reconstruction of pedestrian facilities along a 1,000-foot section of State Route 150 - Design of new ADA-compliant sidewalks, curb cuts, curb ramps, and an 80-foot prefabricated pedestrian bridge over the Bald Eagle Canal - Additional elements: pavement markings, curbing, curb islands, utility coordination, geotechnical investigations, hydrologic and hydraulic reports, right-of-way planning, and traffic control plans - OEMs and Vendors: - Potential OEM for the pedestrian bridge: Contech (for truss-type prefabricated bridges) - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with PennDOT RC Standards and ADA standards - Experience with PennDOT ECMS project execution - Preparation of detailed engineering documents, cost estimates, and participation in project meetings and reviews - Project is funded by a $750,000 Transportation Alternatives Set Aside Grant - Services Requested: - Professional engineering and design services for all project elements - Surveying, utility coordination, structure borings, hydrologic/hydraulic reports, and construction support
