Description
California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory includes human remains representing at least two Native American individuals and four associated funerary objects collected between 1927 and 1929 in Wilmington, CA. CSUF has determined a cultural affiliation between these remains and the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, California. Repatriation of the human remains and associated funerary objects may occur on or after September 30, 2026, and requests for repatriation must be sent to the authorized representative at CSUF.
