Description
The CFPB, PSO, requires continued contractor support for the operation, maintenance and enhancement of the Automated Background Investigation System (ABIS). ABIS serves as an established personnel security system supporting the administrative processing, tracking, management and transmission of personnel security and investigative information in support of background investigation and personnel vetting activities.
The objective of this requirement is to ensure the continued availability, reliability, security and functionality of ABIS while enabling the system to adapt to evolving CFPB operational needs and Government wide personnel vetting policies, standards, technologies and external systems.
Contractor support shall include ongoing system maintenance and technical support; configuration and software updates; maintenance of existing interfaces and data exchanges; and the development and implementation of approved enhancements and modifications necessary to support CFPB business requirements and maintain compatibility with changes to CFPB and external Federal systems, processes and requirements.
The contractor shall also support ABIS modernization and adaptation activities necessary to address evolving Federal personnel vetting initiatives and requirements, including Trusted Workforce 2.0 and changes, services, policies or requirements established by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Performance Accountability Council Program Management Office (PAC PMO) and other applicable Federal entities.
