Hardee County - Purchasing Department is seeking qualified contractors for stream and canal remediation and stabilization at eight sites in Hardee County, Florida. - Project funded by the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program - Scope includes: - Debris removal (600–1800 linear feet per site) - Sediment removal - Sod installation at disturbed areas - Riprap installation - Geotextile placement - Construction of 150 linear feet of sheet pile wall with concrete caps (Circle Drive site) - Excavation, backfilling, compaction, and site restoration to pre-construction grades - Contractors must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, mobilization, maintenance of traffic (if required), erosion and sediment control, and incidentals - All work must comply with NRCS EWP and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards (whichever is more stringent) - Mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit required for all prospective bidders - No specific OEMs or branded products are mentioned; solicitation is open to qualified construction contractors

Hardee County is seeking construction services for eight stream and canal remediation and stabilization sites funded by the NRCS EWP Program. The work includes debris and sediment removal, sod installation, riprap, geotextile, sheet pile installation, backfilling, and site restoration. All work must comply with NRCS and FDOT standards, and site verification prior to construction is required. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at the Hardee County Ag Training Center.
