Failure to provide all required data will result in disqualification from award under this solicitation. If evaluation of a source approval request cannot be processed in time or approval requirements preclude timely procurement, award may be continued based on fleet support needs. 1. Scope Articles to be furnished hereunder shall be repaired, tested, and inspected in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the Requirements Section of this document. Unless expressly provided for elsewhere, equipment such as fixtures, jigs, dies, patterns, mylars, special tooling, test equipment, or any other manufacturing aid required for manufacture and testing will not be provided by the Government and is the sole responsibility of the contractor. This applies regardless of references in drawings or specifications. The use of MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited. SAE-AS22759 series wire shall be used instead. Questions should be directed to the Procuring Contracting Officer. If MIL-STD-454 is referenced, compliance with IPC/EIAJ-STD-001C is expected, and personnel must be trained and certified accordingly. Articles shall be manufactured, tested, and inspected per the latest NAVAIR approved drawings and specifications, including all referenced details and publications. Markings shall conform to MIL-STD-130. Applicable Documents: Not applicable. Requirements General: Establishes criteria for repair, testing, and inspection of the item, including component repair, replacement, reassembly, and testing to return units to a serviceable condition. Definitions: Defines terms such as CONTRACTOR, OVERHAUL, and REPAIR. Scope: Details the scope of work, including overhaul, upgrade, repair, testing, inspection, and acceptance criteria. Changes and Approvals: Changes to manuals, drawings, or specifications require approval from the Procuring Contracting Officer. Repairs using unapproved changes are at the contractor’s risk. Parts and Materials: The contractor is responsible for supplying all parts and materials unless specified as Government Furnished Material. Quality Requirements: The contractor shall establish a quality system conforming to ISO 9001/SAE AS9100, maintain calibration systems, and control purchased parts and materials. Inspection and testing procedures must be documented and approved. Storage and Packaging: Proper storage environments and packaging per MIL-STD-2073 are required.
