NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Astrophysics Division is seeking advanced engineering and management services for multi-spectral detector systems supporting the ESA Athena mission. - Sole source contract intended for TELTRIUM, INC. as the only identified provider - Services required include: - Advanced packaging and precision wire bonding for detector systems - Cryogenic validation and cleanroom operations management - Mechanical design, failure analysis, and facilities management - Technical leadership and personnel management for detector development - No specific hardware products, part numbers, or quantities are listed - NAICS code is 541330 (Engineering Services) - NASA is requesting capability statements from other organizations to assess potential competition - Work will be performed at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center - Period of performance is 1 year

Description

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Specialized engineering support services. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to TELTRIUM, INC: 7850 WALKER DR STE 200 | GREENBELT, MD 20771 under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that TELTRIUM, INC is the sole provider of Specialized engineering support services.

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541330.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 9/2/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

NOTE:  Quotes received in response to this notice will NOT be considered and will not be evaluated by NASA’s Technical End User Team. We are currently only requesting Capability Statements.
