This opportunity involves the USDA Forest Service (Lassen National Forest) seeking a contractor for an engine replacement project on a government vehicle. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Lassen National Forest, R-5 Northern California Acquisition Service Area (NCASA) - OEMs and Vendors: - International (vehicle manufacturer) - MAXXFORCE (engine manufacturer) - Products/Services Requested: - Remanufactured engine (compatible with International 7400 SFA 4X4, Year 2015) - Must be MAXXFORCE DT570 or approved equivalent, trimmed, universal or specific fit, 245 HP rating - Quantity: 1 - Certificate of Conformance and traceability to OEM required - Alternate parts allowed if approved for form, fit, and function - Core charge (Quantity: 1) - Hazard waste charges (Quantity: 1) - Labor for engine replacement (63.5 hours) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, testing, and incidentals must be provided - Work must comply with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices - Wage determinations for Washoe, Shasta, and Sacramento counties are included - Certificate of Conformance and OEM traceability required for all parts - Alternate parts must be approved and meet form, fit, and function requirements

Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, testing, and incidentals necessary to perform engine replacement in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.  The vehicle an International 7400 SFA 4X4, Year 2015, Engine MAXXFORCE 9 (330 HP/2200GOV) - to be replaced with a compatible remanufactured engine (MAXXFORCE DT570 or approved equivalent, trimmed, universal or specific fit, 245 HP rating).
