Description

Miami-Dade County is soliciting proposals for services from a title, abstract company, or law firm to provide certified ownership and encumbrance reports (O&E) for tax deed applications. These reports include lien information on real property subjected to tax deed applications and also cover County-owned surplus property. Additional services include searching probate records, determining deed validity, searching lunacy and foreclosure proceedings, offering title insurance policies to successful bidders and the County, and providing title insurance commitments, policies, closing services, title search reports, certificates of title, and title plant services as requested by the Office of Real Estate and Development. The County anticipates awarding up to five contracts for a five-year period.
