Description

Placer County's Department of Agriculture, Parks, and Natural Resources' Regional Forest Health (RFH) Division seeks a qualified individual or firm to serve as the prime consultant for the Foresthill Divide Community Protection Project Planning and Environmental Compliance Services. The project involves evaluating wildfire risk on over 50,014 acres of non-federal forest and wildland-urban interface lands, developing a detailed treatment plan for forest resilience activities, and completing environmental review on priority sub-areas to expedite fuels reduction treatments. The contractor will handle CEQA coordination, landowner engagement, biological and cultural resource surveys, data analysis, forestry treatment planning, fire modeling, and GIS analysis. The contract aims to position priority sub-areas for expedited implementation of fuels reduction treatments under subsequent phases.
