USNA Distributed Antenna System Installation and Maintenance

The United States Naval Academy (USNA) is seeking installation and one year of maintenance for a high-capacity Distributed Antenna System (DAS) in Alumni Hall to support up to 4,300 users. - Government Buyer: - United States Naval Academy (USNA) Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) - Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk - OEMs and Key Manufacturers: - Advanced RF Technologies (ADRF) - APC (by Schneider Electric) - Laird-TE - Microlab/FXR - Galtronics - Gamma Nu - Products and Quantities: - Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) DAS sectors (4 sectors) - Fiber BDA Hubs (ADXV-H ODU-4-X): 8 units - Head End Chassis, Channel Combiners, and Filters (various ADRF part numbers): 8–24 units each - Repeaters and Remote Modules (various ADRF part numbers): 8 units each - Antennas (Laird-TE, Galtronics, Gamma Nu): - Ceiling-flushed omni-directional antennas (CFD69383P1B30D43F, CFD69383PB30D43F): 32, 20, 5 units - Directional MIMO antennas (EXTENT D5777i): 10, 4 units - Narrow beamwidth panel antennas (DO13X20702P): 11 units - Power splitters/tappers (Microlab/FXR, various part numbers): 2–14 units per type - Fiber optic cable (48 strand armored): 1 run - UPS battery packs (APC SMX2000LVNC, SMX120BP): 1–16 units - Cabinets for remote locations - Services Requested: - Installation of all DAS components and fiber - Benchmark testing and closeout documentation - One year of maintenance: system cleaning, performance tuning, remote diagnostics, on-site service, and annual data walks - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must support 4,200–4,300 users in Alumni Hall - UPS systems at each remote and headend location with minimum one-hour runtime under full load - All antennas and equipment to be installed with consideration for building structure and user coverage - Maintenance includes both remote and on-site support, with annual system data verification
