Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks consulting services to prepare an Intermunicipal Area Concept Plan (IACP) for lands within the Grande Prairie IDP area, mainly south of the City of Grande Prairie. The plan will cover approximately 10,416.81 hectares and include existing Area Structure Plans, developed areas, environmentally sensitive lands, transportation corridors, infrastructure opportunities, and lands with long-term urban development potential. The objective is to support growth management, infrastructure coordination, and orderly development by providing a framework for land use, servicing, transportation, environmental stewardship, development phasing, and intermunicipal growth management. The project will be led by a consultant, overseen by the County Planning Department, and presented to County Council for adoption.
