General Contractor Services for Construction of Stoughton–Tecumseh Health Centre

This opportunity is for the complete construction of the new Stoughton–Tecumseh Health Centre in Stoughton, Saskatchewan, led by the Rural Municipality of Tecumseh No. 65 in partnership with the Town of Stoughton. - Government Buyer: - Rural Municipality of Tecumseh No. 65 (in partnership with Town of Stoughton) - Scope of Work: - Construction of a one-storey, 4,528 ft² (420.7 m²) health-care facility - Group D occupancy with an occupant load of 54 persons - Full general contractor services: project management, supervision, procurement, subcontractor coordination, construction, testing, commissioning, deficiency correction, and project closeout - Includes architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical work - Site preparation, foundations, structural framing, exterior envelope, roofing, interior finishes, doors/windows, accessibility features, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, millwork, testing, commissioning, and closeout - Products Requested: - Windows EW-1: 13 units (triple-pane, low-E, argon-filled white vinyl picture windows, approx. 48 x 24 inches) - Windows EW-2: 7 units (triple-pane, low-E, argon-filled white vinyl picture windows, approx. 36 x 48 inches) - Windows IW-1: 2 units (interior glazing, white vinyl picture windows, approx. 60 x 48 inches) - Power Door Operators: 2 units (for front and rear vestibule doors, barrier-free access) - Unique Requirements: - Facility must be functional, accessible, durable, and cost-effective - Compliance with National Building Code of Canada (NBC 2020) and local regulations - Barrier-free access and power door operators for accessibility - Lump sum pricing and detailed construction schedule required - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; procurement is for general construction services and standard building products.

Description

The Rural Municipality of Tecumseh No. 65, in partnership with the Town of Stoughton, is soliciting proposals from qualified general contractors for the complete construction of the new Stoughton–Tecumseh Health Centre in Stoughton, Saskatchewan. The project involves building a functional, accessible, durable, and cost-effective one-storey health-care facility of approximately 4,528 ft² (420.7 m²) with a Group D occupancy and an occupant load of 54 persons. The successful contractor will manage all construction services including project management, supervision, procurement, subcontractor coordination, construction, testing, commissioning, deficiency correction, and project closeout. The procurement will result in one construction contract, and contractors must include mechanical and electrical scope and pricing in their submissions.
