Westmoreland County Adult Probation and Parole Department is seeking bids for new duty handguns, holsters, and ammunition, including a trade-in program for existing firearms. - Government Buyer: - Westmoreland County Adult Probation and Parole Department - OEMs and Vendors: - Glock (handguns) - Aimpoint (optics) - Alien Gear (holsters) - Speer (ammunition) - Products/Services Requested: - 55 Glock 17 Gen6 DC8 9mm pistols with Aimpoint COA optics and BOF/UCSR sights (three magazines per firearm) - 50 Alien Gear Rapid Force LV2 duty holsters (right-hand) - 5 Alien Gear Rapid Force LV2 duty holsters (left-hand) - 14 cases of Speer Gold Dot 124 Grain Hollow Point 9mm ammunition (1,000 rounds per case) - 41 cases of Speer Lawman 124 Grain TMJ 9mm training ammunition (1,000 rounds per case) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Trade-in of 43 Glock 23 Gen4 and 5 Glock 23 Gen5 handguns with specified trade-in values - Employee purchase program for trade-in firearms must be offered - Delivery of new firearms must occur before removal of trade-in firearms - Holsters must be compatible with Glock 17 and Aimpoint COA optic - Bidders must provide detailed product identification and descriptive literature for alternatives - County may retain trade-in firearms up to 90 days post-acceptance - Employee purchase program must be initiated within 90 days of trade-in receipt - The County reserves the right to award contracts for individual items, groups, or combined awards.

Description

Sealed bids are requested for duty handguns, holsters, and ammunition including trade-in handguns for the Westmoreland County Adult Probation and Parole Department. Bids must be submitted to the Office of the Westmoreland County Controller by 2:00 P.M. on October 6, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:15 P.M. the same day. The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids. Bidders must follow all instructions in the bid specifications to avoid disqualification.
