Santé Québec Montérégie-Est (ex-CISSSME) intends to acquire 72 ambulatory infusion pumps equipped with a versatile infusion platform suitable for hospital settings and home care. These devices are intended for pain management through patient-controlled analgesia (PCA). They should allow patients to self-administer a bolus of narcotic analgesic intravenously or subcutaneously, as well as programmed infusions or boluses, with or without auto-administration in epidural and nerve block spaces.
