The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, is soliciting services for woody debris chipping at Mud Mountain Dam and Howard A Hanson Dam in Enumclaw, Washington. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District (ENDIST SEATTLE KO Contracting Division) - Scope of Work: - Gather and chip woody debris in debris storage fields at two dam locations - Contractor must provide all labor, tools, and heavy equipment with operators - Equipment includes: - Cat D6 Low Ground Pressure (LGP) Dozer or similar (130 hours, plus 20 optional hours) - Cat 320 or similar hydraulic excavator with hydraulic thumb (160 hours, plus 20 optional hours) - Cat 336 or similar hydraulic excavator with hydraulic thumb and tub grinder (130 hours, plus 20 optional hours) - Tub grinder: Diamond Z 1463B or similar, minimum 950 HP, capable of reducing large logs and stumps into 6" minus chips - Portable toilets (2 units, with delivery, pickup, and weekly cleaning) - Laborer with chainsaw (40 optional hours, includes fuel, PPE, and equipment for logs up to 36 inches) - Notable Requirements: - All equipment must include operators and mobilization/demobilization - Work must comply with safety, environmental, and watershed protection regulations - Davis Bacon wage determinations apply - Small business set-aside - No specific OEMs are mandated, but Caterpillar (Cat) and Diamond Z are referenced as equipment standards - No product part numbers are specified; equipment must meet or exceed listed specifications

Provide all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to perform all work in strict accordance with this Performance Work Statement, all federal, state and local codes and regulations and all applicable industry standards to gather and chip woody debris that is located in the debris storage fields at Mud Mountain Dam (MMD) and Howard A Hanson Dam (HAHD).
