This opportunity is for the demolition and installation of specialized pour-in-place rubber surfacing at two infant playgrounds at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Little Rock Air Force Base, Child Development Center - Scope of Work: - Demolish, remove, and legally dispose of existing playground surfacing - Surface cleaning, preparation, and primer application - Install new pour-in-place rubber surfacing system: - 3/4-inch black SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber) base layer - 1/4-inch EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) top layer (50/50 tan and light green granules) - Compatible binders/adhesives, edge transitions, ramps - Work around fixed features (pavilion support poles, etc.) - Provide a 12-month warranty on installed surfacing - Requirements: - Contractor must supply all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision - Site inspection prior to bidding is encouraged - Compliance with base access requirements, including REAL ID - No government-furnished materials or equipment - Performance Details: - 60 calendar days period of performance after contract award - Work hours: 0700-1700, Monday-Friday, excluding holidays - No specific OEMs or brands are named; contractors may propose suitable commercial surfacing systems

Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and incidentals necessary to demolish, remove, and legally dispose of existing playground surface material and to furnish and install new pour-in-place rubber surfacing at two infant playground areas located in front of Building 1257 at Little Rock AFB.

A site visit will be held on 8 Sep. 2026 at 10:00 AM CDT. Vendors shall meet at Little Rock AFB Visitor Center. Vendors must have a REAL ID to access Little Rock AFB. Vendors will then walk/drive to the actual site of contract performance. Vendors are encouraged to inspect the site in order to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance to the extent that information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
