The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) is seeking a qualified contractor for decking upgrades at the Oroville Project Headquarters. - Scope of work: - Demolish and dispose of existing wood decking, stairs, ramps, and railings for five office trailers (Trailers A, B, C, D, & E) - Furnish and install new prefabricated aluminum decks, stairs, ramps, and railings for the same trailers - Install new truncated dome mats and dispose of existing mats - Contractor requirements: - Must hold a valid California contractor license (C-5 or C-61/D-41, or other relevant classification) - Minimum 5 years of aluminum decking experience - Must meet Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation (minimum 3%) - Compliance with California Building Code Chapter 11B and DSA access requirements - Provide warranty: 10 years for materials, 1 year for labor - No specific OEMs or product brands are named; focus is on qualified contractors and aluminum decking systems - All labor, materials, equipment, permits, and incidentals must be supplied by the contractor - Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, excluding state holidays - Contractor must submit a design proposal within 15 days of contract execution and obtain DWR approval before fabrication and installation

Description

The Department of Water Resources is soliciting bids for decking services involving the demolition of existing wood decking systems and the provision and installation of new aluminum decks, stairs, ramps, and railings for five office trailers.
