Description

Project Description: The contractor shall provide services for picking up and dropping off CLI frozen rations, consisting of Ice, UGR-A (Frozen), Milk, Fresh fruits, and vegetables across the 18th FAB (Table 18 AX) footprint from 08 - 18 SEP 2026. The contractor will provide two drivable reefer Box Trucks for cold/frozen storage. Reefer 1 will have 100 bags of ice and will be stationary at the Field Site during the duration. Reefer 1 and Reefer 2 will meet at Fort Bragg SSMO on 8 September at 0730, then be escorted to the GRID location via convoy into the Field Site. Reefer 2 will support food pickup at SSMO on the following days: Tuesday, 8 September 2026 Friday, 11 September 2026 Monday, 14 September 2026 Wednesday, 16 September 2026 All pickup times are at 0730. Project Title: Refrigeration Truck for 18th Field Artillery Brigade This project supports the 18th FAB's readiness and unit safety in accordance with safety and equipment regulations. Performing this service ensures food safety, longevity, and maintains a high safety standard for the unit in the future. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to support this project for the 18th FAB. One truck is dedicated for Ice and will remain stationary at the field site until the day of index, when the contractor will come to pick up the reefer. Reefer truck 1 should arrive with 100 bags of ice and be capable of sustaining working conditions for the duration of the mission. The contractor shall provide a Point of Contact (POC) to coordinate with the supported unit (18th FAB). Cleanup Requirements: The contractor shall remove all trash, debris, and surplus materials from the work sites on 18 September 2026 and leave the site clean of debris upon completion. Work Hours: 24 Hours Material Delivery and Documentation: The contractor shall deliver all materials to the appropriate addresses, provide necessary documentation, and leave the truck unlocked with the key accessible for emergencies or unit movements. Pickup from SSMO will follow a 2-2-3 day ration cycle: Every two working days starting Monday, then Wednesday, then Friday, with the cycle repeating to cover the weekend and return to Monday.
