Description

The New York State Department of Health is issuing a Solicitation of Interest under the Primary Care Service Corps Loan Repayment Program to increase the supply of certain clinicians in underserved areas. Eligible clinicians include dentists, dental hygienists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, clinical psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, and licensed mental health counselors. Clinicians must commit to practice at an Active NHSC Approved Site in primary care or behavioral health settings. Funding support is up to $1,000,000 for new awards, with specific amounts allocated per clinician type, not exceeding individual educational debt, in exchange for a three-year practice commitment.
