Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is seeking to study benzene concentrations in the air near gasoline stations in Canada, preferably in the Ottawa-Gatineau area, to understand health risks associated with benzene emissions and assess the effectiveness of emission control equipment. The contractor will measure ambient benzene and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) before, during, and after gasoline deliveries, following the parameters in the Statement of Work. The work includes preparation of a Study Plan, scheduling and conducting measurements at selected gasoline stations, data processing, and submission of results. The contract duration is approximately 6 months, starting around September 21, 2026, and ending by March 31, 2027.
