The Neighborhood Park Redevelopment project aims to revitalize a Land and Water Conservation Fund park originally funded in 1984, addressing its lack of ADA accessibility. The park has remained largely unchanged since 1984 except for resurfacing of tennis and basketball courts. The Town of Granite Falls plans to enhance the park with ADA-compliant features such as accessible parking, walkways, multipurpose courts, outdoor exercise equipment, shade structures, and a sensory playground to make it inclusive and welcoming to all community members.
