The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Division of Waste Management is seeking multiple pre-qualified vendors to provide environmental engineering services for the Inactive Hazardous Sites Branch. - Government Buyer: - North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) - Division of Waste Management, Inactive Hazardous Sites Branch - Scope of Services: - Technical assessment and mitigation of inactive hazardous sites - Preparation of site-specific work plans and health & safety plans - Hydrogeologic and contaminant assessments - Geophysical and land surveying activities - Development of mitigation plans, design drawings, and implementation - Oversight of remediation and demolition activities - Permit application preparation and submission - Subcontractor management and competitive bidding for subcontracted work - Technical and administrative support at public hearings - Reporting and documentation - Products/Equipment (examples): - Peristaltic pumps, submersible pumps with controllers, survey sets, Teflon bailers and tubing, hand augers, generators, and field expendables - Unique Requirements: - Vendors must be licensed to practice architecture, engineering, or landscape architecture in North Carolina - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to multiple qualified firms - No minimum or maximum guarantee of work; detailed fee schedule applies - Estimated contract value: $5,000,000 over five years, with a possible two-year extension
