Description
Inspect all windows/awnings and surrounding for drafts, leaks, or visible damage and submit a report to the CG. The pre report will include using a water wand to verify where the water intrusion is coming from. After, the contractor will remove any old, cracked sealant and clean the surfaces thoroughly. Apply new, high quality, weather resistant, sealant around the entire window frame, ensuring a continuous and smooth bead. Check and adjust the window sashes, jambs, sill, flashing and locks to ensure a tight seal. Also, apply new, high quality, weather resistant, sealant around the awning to make sure no water intrusion occurs without taking the awning off. Reinstall or replace any worn weather stripping. Finally, conduct a post inspection insuring no leaks remain (water wand), confirming all parts are weather-tight. Replace all window interior trim pieces that were damaged with the same materials. In accordance with the attached Statement Of Work (SOW).
