The City of Redlands Facilities & Community Services department is seeking bids for comprehensive sports field preparation and striping services for youth soccer, baseball, and football fields at city parks and Redlands Unified School District facilities. - Government Buyer: - City of Redlands, Facilities & Community Services, Office of the City Clerk - Scope of Work: - Field preparation: leveling, dragging, compacting batter’s boxes and pitcher’s mounds - Line marking: painting and chalking for baseball, softball, soccer, and football fields - Installation/resetting of base pegs, home plates, and pitcher’s mounds - Trip charges for servicing multiple fields per day - Products & Materials: - Non-toxic, water-based athletic field paint required for all striping - Quantities & Line Items: - Over 25 distinct line items including: - Drag and level infields (160 for <70 basepaths, 90 for 70-90 basepaths) - Chalk base paths and related areas (160 for <70 basepaths, 135 for 70-90 basepaths) - Compact batter’s boxes and pitcher’s mounds (270 each) - Paint foul lines (72) - Soccer and football field layout and painting (various sizes and quantities) - Trip charges for field servicing (125 total) - Notable Requirements: - Minimum five years of relevant experience - All labor, equipment, vehicles, materials, and supplies must be provided by the contractor - Paint must be environmentally safe and meet league standards (US Youth Soccer, Little League, NFL Flag) - Services may be required on weekends; personnel must wear identifiable attire and safety gear - Striping must be completed at least four hours before the first game - All costs (labor, materials, fuel, equipment) must be included in the bid - Contract Details: - 12-month contract term with as-needed services - Award to lowest responsive and responsible bidder
