Presolicitation Synopsis – Portable Generators

2. Set‑Aside Status This requirement will be solicited as a Small Business Set‑Aside

3. Applicable Codes

PSC: 6115 – Generators and Generator Sets NAICS: 335312 – Motor and Generator Manufacturing Small business size standard: 1,000 employees

4. Description of Requirement

The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB), FL, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of five (5) trailer‑mounted portable diesel generators ranging from 26 kW to 200 kW.

The generators must meet or exceed the Government’s salient characteristics, including:

Heavy‑duty diesel engines EPA Tier 4 Final emissions compliance Sound‑attenuated, weather‑resistant, lockable enclosure with coastal corrosion protection Trailer‑mounted, pintle‑towable configuration with highway‑rated axles Multi‑voltage selector switch capable of 120/240V single‑phase and 120/208V & 277/480V three‑phase Integrated double‑walled fuel tank Digital control panel, GFCI convenience receptacles, and high‑current bus bar terminal connections

Minimum power and fuel tank requirements:

This acquisition will be solicited as Brand Name or Equal, and all offered products must meet or exceed the salient characteristics to be considered acceptable.
