Description

The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland AFB, TX, is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the resources and capability to provide the scope of work described below.The Government is collecting market data and information in accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 10 . The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement and potential set-aside strategy. All information provided in response to this notice is strictly voluntary.

Description of Work :

The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary to repair and replace secure area door opening mechanisms at JBSA-Lackland. This includes electronic access control (EAC) systems such as: card readers, electric strikes, magnetic locks, associated wiring, power supplies, and components as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall perform to meet all standards in the agreement and must be fully bonded and licensed. 

Refer to the attached PWS for detailed requirements.

The Government has tentatively assigned PSC J063 and NAICS code 561621 to this procurement.

Action Required: If your firm determines that a different NAICS or PSC code is more efficient or accurate for this scope of work, please provide the recommended NAICS/PSC code along with a brief technical justification in your submission.
