Description
The City of Fresno is soliciting electronic bids for the procurement of compost, mulch, renewable energy, and/or electricity to meet the Annual Recovered Organic Waste Product Procurement Target. The procurement requires delivery F.O.B. destination with freight prepaid and allowed at designated locations for the City of Fresno. Bidders may bid on compost/mulch, energy/electricity, or both, with a total quantity requirement of 43,750 units. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the lowest total bid price. Bids must comply with criteria specified in 14 CCR Section 18993.1 and Section 18993.2 and be submitted electronically via Planet Bids by September 3, 2026.
