Clark County is seeking bids for a major rehabilitation and replacement project at the Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road pedestrian bridges. - Scope includes: - Replacement of twelve (12) existing escalators with new high-efficiency, heavy-duty transit-grade escalators - Repair and modernization of six (6) hydraulic elevators, including hydraulic jack replacement - Elevator roofing replacement and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and maintenance rooms (new HVAC equipment, lighting, plumbing fixtures, roofing repairs) - Enlargement of mechanical and electrical rooms, installation of new doors and hardware - Modification of stairs with new LED lighted handrails and tactile warning panels, concrete stair repairs - Installation of sand-oil separators, manholes, new sump pumps and piping - Pavement and sidewalk patching, landscaping and irrigation restoration, trench drains, curb & gutter, and sidewalk replacement - OEMs: TKE (ThyssenKrupp Elevator) and other major escalator manufacturers are eligible as qualified bidders - Notable requirements: - Mandatory pre-bid conference (attendance required for bid submission) - Field full-load dynamic brake testing for escalators - Compliance with APTA transit-duty practices and ASME A17.1 standards - Products/services requested: - 12 transit-grade escalators - 6 hydraulic elevator modernizations - HVAC equipment, LED handrails, sump pumps, and associated upgrades - Buyer: Clark County, Nevada (local government) - Project covers both product supply and installation/construction services
