Description

The St. Johns River Water Management District is seeking qualified contractors to provide aerial herbicide application services using helicopters for invasive vegetation management across its 18-county service area. The services support water quality protection, water resource conservation, flood protection, and natural systems stewardship by controlling nuisance aquatic, emergent, and upland vegetation. The contractor must provide all helicopters, pilots, equipment, labor, and operational support necessary for aerial herbicide applications for aquatic and terrestrial sites, including surveillance and inspection flights. Work will be performed on an as-needed basis at locations identified by the District's Project Manager, complying with all applicable laws, permit conditions, herbicide label requirements, and environmental regulations including NPDES and FDACS. The contract term is from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2029, with two optional annual renewals.
