Description

The Department of Water Resources is seeking Statements of Qualifications and Proposals from qualified submitters to serve as the Design-Builder for the Progressive Design-Build Kane Spring Project located near the City of Brawley along the southwest shore of the Salton Sea. The project includes water-based and vegetation-based dust control measures, additional shoreline bird habitat, improved water use efficiency, and wetlands enhancement through the design and construction of ponds, ditches, berms, vegetation enhancement, and wetlands enhancement. The procurement uses a one-step, Best Value selection method. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for October 1, 2026, with pre-registration required by September 23, 2026.
