Description
The Department of Education is proposing an extension without change of a currently approved information collection request related to record keeping and reporting requirements under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This collection involves 56 State lead agencies that receive IDEA Part C funds, requiring them to collect and maintain information or data and, in some cases, report information to other public agencies or the public. The purpose is to ensure all IDEA Part C information responsibilities are documented and submitted for Office of Management and Budget review. The Department invites public comments on this proposed extension by October 27, 2026.
