Description
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG Model Trent7000-72 and Trent7000-72C engines. This AD was prompted by reports of engine in-flight shut-downs caused by premature failure of certain parts. It prohibits the installation of certain lubrication/scavenge pumps unless specific installation criteria are met to address the unsafe condition. Compliance with this AD is required by October 2, 2026.
