Description

This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of alpha-d-glucopyranoside, beta-d-fructofuranosyl, mixed palmitates and stearates when used as an inert ingredient (surfactant) on growing crops pre-harvest at no more than 12% of the final pesticide formulation. The exemption is issued under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The regulation is effective from August 28, 2026, and objections must be received by October 27, 2026. This action eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for these residues in or on food.
