The Fish Creek Provincial Park Sikome Lake Water Treatment Plant requires an upgrade to its aging control system due to obsolete equipment and limited vendor support. The project aims to modernize and improve the reliability, functionality, and maintainability of the plant's automation, monitoring, and control infrastructure by replacing obsolete PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, communications and alarm equipment, and backup power systems. The work will reduce operational and maintenance risks, improve system reliability, and support the safe and uninterrupted operation of the water treatment plant. Construction must comply with all legislative, regulatory, health and safety, and environmental requirements while minimizing impacts to park operations and visitors. The estimated contract duration is 4 months, starting from October 1, 2026.
