Description

Environment and Climate Change Canada requires a contractor to provide a national waste diversion and recycling program for hard-to-recycle materials generated at ECCC facilities across Canada. The services include collection, transportation, recycling, documentation, and reporting for waste streams such as personal protective equipment, scientific plastics, laboratory instruments, snack wrappers and aluminized plastics, coffee pods, and other designated hard-to-recycle materials. The contract duration is 6 months and supports ECCC's objectives under the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy and Greening Government Strategy to divert operational and plastic waste from landfill.
