The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract with other than the current source. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements (FAR 52.225-3) and the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement (FAR 52.225-5). These items require Government Source Approval prior to award. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval. 1. Scope Articles to be furnished shall be repaired, tested, and inspected per the terms and conditions specified in the Requirements Section. Each item contracted for repair SHALL have a Statement of Work to ensure compliance with all repair procedures and requirements. Repair of: LOAD CELL 7RH 1650 016656090 H5 NSN Part Number: 06850-02821-102 Shall be performed in accordance with the latest revision of the technical manual/approved repair procedures. Any deviation from approved procedures requires review and acceptance by the Basic Design Engineer. Requests for Waiver/Deviation shall be routed through the Local DCMA/ACO office for review and recommendations via Form 1998. 2. Applicable Documents Not applicable. 3. Requirements 3.1 General This Statement of Work (SOW) establishes the criteria for repair and testing/inspection of the item, including inspection, component repair, replacement, reassembly, and testing procedures to return units to a serviceable condition. 3.2 Definitions Contractor: The successful offeror awarded a contract, order, or project work order. Overhaul: Disassembled, cleaned, inspected, repaired, reassembled, tested, and returned to a Ready for Issue (RFI) condition. Repair: Restored to RFI condition by replacing or repairing defective components and tested per the repair manual. 3.3 Scope The items shall be overhauled, upgraded, repaired, tested, inspected, and accepted per the contract terms. Government Furnished Property will not be provided unless expressly specified. The contractor shall provide necessary facilities, labor, materials, parts, and test equipment to return items to RFI condition. 3.4 Changes and Control Changes to manuals, drawings, or specifications require PCO approval. Repairs using unapproved changes are at the contractor's risk, and the contractor shall replace any such items if disapproved. References on drawings/specifications shall read as the
