The U.S. Air Force at Beale Air Force Base is conducting market research for carpet, flooring, furniture, and pest control services in Building 5710. - Government Buyer: - Air Combat Command, FA4686 9 CONS PK office, and Headquarters 9th Reconnaissance Wing at Beale AFB - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to qualified service providers and material manufacturers - Products Requested: - Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT), 12x12, 1/8 gauge (256 square yards) - 4-inch cove base (700 linear feet) - Commercial vinyl or rubber transition strips (quantity not specified) - Adhesive materials compatible with VCT - All other materials needed for carpet removal and installation - Services Requested: - Carpet demolition and disposal (approx. 2,300 sq ft) - Subfloor remediation, preparation, and pest control (including mechanical grinding, chemical removal, HEPA vacuuming, insecticide application, crack/joint sealing) - Subfloor moisture testing and leveling - VCT installation, sealing, and finishing (commercial acrylic sealer, high-traffic floor finish) - Furniture removal, storage, and reinstallation (including packing, protection, secure storage, and return) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Pest control treatment integrated with flooring replacement - Strict base access and security requirements - Work must be performed during normal duty hours, excluding federal holidays - All demolished materials must be legally disposed of off installation - Furniture must be securely stored in weatherproof pods and returned to original configuration - Floor finish must meet ASTM D2047 slip-resistance standards - No specific part numbers or named brands; materials must meet government specifications outlined in the Statement of Need (SON) and Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS).
